Ruoli di responsabilità nello sviluppo di vari sistemi elettronici analogici e digitali per controllo, alimentazione, acquisizione segnali, elaborazione e trasmissione dati in sistemi di rivelatori di raggi cosmici, operanti in ambiente spaziale (su satellite o Stazione Spaziale Internazionale ISS) nell’ambito di collaborazioni internazionali (PAMELA, CALET, CSES) supportate da varie Agenzie Spaziali (NASA, ASI, ROSCOSMOS, JAXA, CNSA).
2012-presente: ricercatore, IFAC (Istituto di Fisica Applicata “Nello Carrara” del CNR), Sesto Fiorentino (FI). Lavoro di sviluppo e realizzazione del sistema elettronico di alte tensioni per l’esperimento su raggi cosmici CALET a bordo della ISS e del sistema di alimentazione dell’esperimento CSES-LIMADOU su satellite.
2006-2012: assegno di ricerca e poi (2011-2012) ricercatore, INFN (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare), Sezione di Firenze.
Lavoro di calibrazione e analisi dei dati raccolti in orbita dall’apparato PAMELA dopo il lancio, principalmente contribuendo alla misura dei flussi di particelle assoluti per protoni ed elio, con sviluppo e ottimizzazione di metodi di analisi mirati a minimizzare l’impatto delle sorgenti di errore sistematico sul risultato finale.
2006: dottorato di ricerca in Fisica, Università degli Studi di Firenze, con tesi su progettazione e realizzazione dell’elettronica digitale di controllo per il sistema tracciante dell’esperimento su raggi cosmici PAMELA a bordo del satellite Resurs (lanciato nel giugno 2006) e sull’analisi dei primi dati raccolti con l’apparato PAMELA assemblato.
2002: laurea in Fisica, Università degli Studi di Firenze, con tesi su progettazione e realizzazione del sistema elettronico di acquisizione per il rivelatore tracciante dell’esperimento su raggi cosmici PAMELA.

Responsibility roles in the development of various digital and analog electronic systems for control, power, signal read-out, data processing and transmission in cosmic-ray detector systems operating in space (on satellite or ISS) in the framework of international collaborations (PAMELA, CALET, CSES) supported by various Space Agencies (NASA, ASI, ROSCOSMOS, JAXA, CNSA).

Work on design and implementation of the high-voltage electronic system for the CALET cosmic-ray experiment on the International Space Station and of the power system for the CSES-LIMADOU experiment on satellite.

Work on calibration and in-orbit data analysis of PAMELA apparatus after launch, mainly contributing to the measurement of absolute particle fluxes for protons and helium, with development and optimization of analysis methods with the main purpose of minimizing the impact of systematic error sources on the final result.
2006: PhD in Physics, University of Florence (Italy) with a thesis on the design and implementation of the digital control electronics for the tracking detector of the PAMELA cosmic-ray experiment, on-board of Resurs satellite (launched in June 2006), and on the analysis of the first data collected with the assembled PAMELA apparatus.
2002: Degree in Physics, University of Florence (Italy) with a thesis on the design and implementation of the read-out electronic system for the tracking detector of the PAMELA cosmic-ray experiment.
