Complex liquids: definitions. Auto-association theory. Structure investigations with laser light, neutrons and x-ray scattering methods. Shape and structure factors, interaction potential. Dynamic processes: diffusion coefficient. Polymers in solution: Theta temperature and the features of a good solvent. Proteins in solution.
