The Master's Degree in Physical and Astrophysical Sciences does not have a restricted admission, but it is necessary to request the nulla osta to enroll.
Admission is allowed for those who hold a degree in the L-30 class (Physical Sciences and Technologies), ex-DM 270/04, or a degree in class 20 (Physical Sciences and Technologies), ex-DM 509/99, and who meet the minimum curricular requirements for admission.
These requirements are met by the Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Astrophysics class L-30 ex-DM 270/04 from the University of Florence. Therefore, according to the resolution of the Degree Course Council of 26/05/2014, the nulla osta for enrollment is automatically granted to students who have graduated from the University of Florence in the Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Astrophysics.
Access to the Master's Degree in Physical and Astrophysical Sciences, class LM-17 of Master's Degrees, is also allowed to those who have acquired a good basic scientific knowledge in mathematical disciplines and adequate preparation in various physical disciplines, and who hold another degree or a three-year university diploma or another title obtained abroad and recognized as suitable by the educational structure for admission to the Master's Degree.

Adequate Individual Preparation
If this verification is deemed satisfactory, the Educational Commission will decide on the eligibility for the Master's Degree in Physical and Astrophysical Sciences class LM-17, issuing the required nulla osta. Otherwise, the student's preparation will be assessed through an interview, which may result in the granting of the nulla osta for admission or the identification of educational obligations that the student must fulfill before enrollment, to complete their knowledge and skills adequacy.
The possible interview will be conducted by a commission made up of professors from the Teaching Committee or appointed by the Degree Course Council.
