Course program
The course discusses the basic physics needed to understand the processes acting in astrophysical conditions. Starting from a summary of fluid mechanics, the basic astrophysical processes will be examined. The detailed discussion of each process will be followed by a careful examination of some situation of astrophysical interest in which that particular processes operates. In particular, the following subjects will be discussed :
Stellar oscillations and heliosismology
Supernovae and H II Regions
Mass accretion on compact stars, both single or belonging to a binary system
Complements of cosmology
